We wrapped up the 9th annual Leesburg Nativity Tour on December 31.  We hope you will participate next year.  Please read on more for information.

 At the center of all the glimmer and glitz of the commercialized Christmas activities and shopping, the Leesburg Nativity Tour seeks to remind shoppers of the historic origins of the Christmas season:  the birth of Jesus Christ!
American culture loves Christmas. Let's remind them that Christ loves them!

The Nativity Tour is a self guided tour, similar to a garden tour.  Shops and restaurants in historic Leesburg display their own or a loaned nativity during December.  The public is encouraged by social media, paper flyers, promotional cards, and a mobile app to visit the shops and restaurants to view the nativity, and maybe do some shopping or dinning along the way.
There are many ways to contribute to the growing success of this annual community event.

We are recruiting shops and restaurants to display their own nativity or a loaned nativity  in their public place of business Dec 1 - 31.   Businesses and offices may also participate.  

Do you have a special or unusual nativity you can loan to one of the Merchants for display and share with the public?  We carefully match the nativity with the site and security of the merchant host with each nativity.  

Do you enjoy decorating for Christmas?  We are looking for volunteers to work in teams to place nativities in shops and restaurants during Thanksgiving week, Nov 24-29.    We need volunteers to preview the tour Dec  2-3 to make sure signs are posted and nativities complete and artistically decorated.
